Review Presentations

Content:
  • Include the author, the title, the context, and the purpose of the argument. SOAPSTone might not be a bad approach to take here.
  • Include the three dominant rhetorical strategies. Offer examples of each and connect them to the author's purpose. Talk like a TEP.
  • Consider how you might use this text on the Lang exam. What argumentative prompts might this text fit?

Presentation:
  • The presentation may be casual but it must be rehearsed.
  • Use note cards instead of binder paper.
  • Don't write your presentation out verbatim
