I have been named as a donkey many times in my life; however, only about half of the time was it caused by me being obdurate.

My book made a compelling argument to stay in bed and finish it; however, I knew sunlight and sustenance and socializing were important for the soul so I moved to the couch by the window to finish - and as for the socializing, well, J.K. Rowling was enough.

ReplyDeleteI can see how some people may find Andrew to be obdurate; however, my equally obstinate mentality, as well as my guilt tripping skills, have proven, on several occasions, to compel Andrew to give up his argument. He will, of course, deny this.
ReplyDeleteMaverick's nickname fit his sometimes reckless, "I don't play by the rules" attitude perfectly; however, Goose's nickname seemed to have no relation to his cautious, assiduous personality.
