  1. So I was attempting to cite "Testing, the Chinese Way" on my bibliography, but was having difficulty finding the right format for citing it as an online periodical? Would the format for an online newspaper work? Just wondering...

    Thanks!

  2. The MLA Examples page from CCC says "Magazine / newspaper articles from their own websites are treated as websites rather than as periodicals. Give the website title (followed by a period), and the publisher – even if they are the same."

This advice is followed by an example. It's kind of hard to find on the page - it's at the very bottom of page one.

Thanks for using the blog rather than e-mail. This way, your classmates have access to your question and my answer. Woo hoo!

  3. Do the 3 classroom resources have to be in the synthesis paragrahs or can they be somewhere else in the paper? I have one in each synthesis and 1 in a solution paragraph.
    Thanks!

  5. For the synthesis essay I was wondering if I am able to use Emerson as a source for one of both my 2 problems?
    As in:
*problem one* 1st synthesis paragraph (blank source) then Emerson as a source.
In addition, another paragraph with different quotes or sources...

*problem two* second synthesis paragraph emerson as a source then (blank source).
A well another paragraph to add additional sources.

    Make any sense?
