    1. This is another sentence with context issues. If you're trying to mask freakishness, you'd probably remove details rather than add them.

    1. You're using the word properly, so I'll guess you're unsure about the punctuation. To test the punctuation of an interrupter, simply remove it from the sentence and see if you're left with a complete sentence.

      For our studio audience, what is the effect of the interrupter?
