Seconds
The first plate would have been enough to stuff them full
Maybe it was that they wanted an excuse to be together a little longer
Maybe it was that they hadn’t eaten a proper meal in days
Maybe it was that they had never tasted food made especially for them
Maybe it was that they needed a break from the real world for another plate or so
Maybe it was that they could keep warm for the time they stayed in here, eating
Whatever it was, they ordered seconds
